Franchising FAQs
Q: Is the franchise model right for me?
A: The franchise model, whilst a great model for many, isn’t for everyone.
- Franchising shouldn’t be considered the easy option. You are still running a business, even if it is a franchised one. So be prepared to put in a lot of commitment and time, and make sure you have the self-motivation and initiative to do this long-term.
- Whilst in many ways it is like having your own business, in others it is not. There will be constraints within the franchise agreement, and you will not have ultimate control of the brand’s reputation.
- There will be an upfront cost to pay to secure the franchise and you will be required to pay ongoing fees to the franchisor or give them a percentage of the profits.
If you still think franchising is the right move for you, go check out our About page for info about the franchises XplorerGroup has to offer.
Q: How much does a franchise cost?
A: Our franchise opportunities start at £10,000 plus royalties. We believe we have competitive prices for a comprehensive offering, giving you everything you need to launch your business.
Q: Which franchise is right for me?
A: When choosing a franchise to take on, your first step should be to take a moment to reflect:
- Why have I decided franchising is the right business model for me?
- What passions / interests do I have?
- What experience and skills do I have that I could bring to a particular franchise?
- Is there a specific type of franchise that I would like to get involved with?
- What am I hoping to get out of franchise ownership?
- How would I like my business to add to my local community?
- What support / resources am I looking to receive from the franchisor?
- What values and culture am I looking for in the franchise I join?
All these questions are worth careful consideration to help you narrow down the type of business you are looking for and which franchisor would be a good fit with you.
Q: What is the franchise application process?
